Manchester City footballer Riyad Mahrez has been ordered to pay his children’s former nanny £3 612 in overtime and expenses after she took him to court.
The £200 000-a-week winger (28) paid Catalina Miraflores £12 an hour between March and November 2018 to look after his two young daughters.
She initially worked for the family at their home in north London, but when Mahrez moved to Manchester her troubles began, reports the Sun.
After that, she began staying in the children’s bedroom in Manchester and working far longer hours than just 8am to 6pm, Monday to Friday.
For five weeks work, Ms Miraflores charges Mahrez £7 146, sending over a cost breakdown — but never received the full amount.
The 52-year-old told the Sun: “Mahrez earns £200 000 a week. I don’t want to destroy anyone’s reputation — I just wanted my money. He’s a cheapskate.’
After messaging the star repeatedly with no response, Ms Miraflores took legal action. — BBC Sport.
