HARARE – President Emmerson Mnangagwa left  on Monday for Guinea Conakry on a State visit aimed at establishing  economic relations between the two countries.

The State visit is at the invitation of Guinea President Alpha Conde.

Among his engagements in the West African nation, President Mnangagwa  is expected to tour a number of dams and construction sites.

He is also expected to ink several memoranda of agreements on  cooperation in many areas.

In May, President Conde sent a special envoy to President Mnangagwa,  inviting him to visit his country and also expressing his government’s  willingness to develop cooperation with Zimbabwe in agriculture, energy  and construction sectors.

Guinea is also interested in establishing a Joint Commission to enable  the two countries to expedite cooperation. – New Ziana
